youth fund...x
Norfolk Youth Fund
well this is another group i belong to which helps young people across the county I'm a chair personally but it seems like fun you have people you get on with as well but it seems to mature sometimes we are i guess changing lives like in an inspector calls you know but that doesn't matter.
I like doing the job but as you get higher up the ladder to the capitals and the opportunity fund it seems the money is made up already but luckily you will never guess what the chair is leaving.Even the people who work with them know this goes on but are they right to sit there and not doing anything.
As you get older money is more important they are not young people anymore they are adults but I'm not yet and finances are not important to me yet i believe in being impartial to be honest and i believe everyone should have a chance to get what they deserve to make them advance or there is no point, that's why i intend to stand for chair for the youth fund cos i believe that young people should have a fair chance.
would you believe corruption in young people grants and the pushing of ideas on to others e.g. locality chairs would happen these grant can change live they can breakdown barriers, change communities yet they still do this how damn selfish is that???
i hope i can change it i will find out Monday and things will change for the better for anyone who sends in a application.

sexual education-are we gettin' enough?
well I'm in my p.s.e lesson which is now just revision time strange huh?
personal
social
real
education lol
well anyway all we covered in our class was homosexuality and something i can't actually remember and did we learn all that much from magazines i don't think so do you?
when you learn sex education sure you must think about contraception maybe by year eleven teachers are at loss of teaching them about sex by that time but if that is true and its in their heads then how come Europe has the highest amount of teen pregnancies of all the continents? i think maybe things have to change people who are charge of sex ed in schools should taught better about contraception and actually not be embarrassed about sex like some are about it i mean sure it can offend some people but at the day things could change little by little things can't change overnight but in a decade or less Europe being the forerunner of teenage pregnancies could change.
sure sexual relationships education is a campaign for youth parliament but as I'm sitting this class writing this, should i be or learning something important?

Now that's over...
Now London has been and gone and the boring part has gone?! i can now talk about what i have to do next month starting in about two weeks time.
I have to go to Great Yarmouth which is a regional meeting for everyone in youth parliament in the east so it should be a good introduction and it will be the weekend of March 15th i think i'm looking forward to it, start learning what other people's opinions are qabout topics we will talk about and campaign against for the next two years.
The county meetings start after that and then we will be on the long road to campaigning and other issues that effect young people where i live and in Norfolk,London ,Cambridgeshire and other areas the east is.
it's the start of something new and the start of people knowing who there and what an MYP is to be honest.

Participation ..you'll be lucky
Well ..As some might know i have been in london for a few days at a conference well as you may guess it was pretty boring but i got through it in the end.
Well the plenary was long i had to take notes you do not know how hard that is until you have sat through one but anyway
we had five sessions and the group i was in for norfolkblurb was last mind the session about blogging made me do this one so i want to tell you, the people in my area what a minister of youth parliament does and how i represent you while im in london & meetings and what issues are brought up which will affect you!
The session we did was great we had an audience and everyone was involved and everyone complimented us on what we did because everyone who had done a presentation had done powerpoints i was in one session that had got up to 59 slides :( so i think it was a welcome change to those who were there. I think soon there'll be a video of what happened during the symposium made soon by norfolkblurb because they had a camcorder and so can really!
well what a week!
dull and brilliant in places thats the syposium.
that does sound like the weather, don't it?
